Learn to build an blog using Quick, a ColdBox ORM engine. In this session, attendees will learn what Quick is, what problems it solves, how to install and configure it, and how to interact with their database using Quick to build a personal blog.

Who is the audience for this hands-on session?

Quick is an extremely powerful ORM library. It can feel a bit strange for newcomers to ORMs and those who have dealt with Hibernate before. Both groups will be excited to see all the power that Quick hands you instead of locking you in to only one way of doing things.

Attendees will understand what Quick is and does, how to create Quick entities and use them in a ColdBox application, know how to drop down to qb when needed.
