Hi, I'm Shawn Oden; I'm a DBA for the U.S. Army and I believe every programmer who touches data should at least learn some basic SQL querying. A database can do much more than just store data; you must know how to ask for that data. In this session, we'll learn some of the basics of SQL querying by working through the process of solving a mystery. It’s another language to learn, but it will help them make their applications better. That’s why I’ve created this session.
This will be my 4th year speaking at Into The Box, and I am honored to be selected again.
